The approximately four-hour, challenging circular hike provides insight into the geology and culture of this region at various stops along the way. At Heisterbach Monastery, in the shadow of the famous choir ruins, you will learn more about the history of this magical place. The former quarry at the neighboring Weilberg tells like an open book about the volcanic prehistory of this landscape. And from the Petersberg, steeped in history, you have a fantastic view of the Rhine valley, including the Drachenfels, the Drachenburg and the famous "Rheinhotel Dreesen". Optionally (not included in the price) you can take a break at the "Einkehrhaus". According to the season we go in between on the flora and fauna of the Siebengebirge.
